Barry unfortunately knew nothing about HCG to combat this condition, an alleged side effect which no one needed to know about until along came former mistress Kimberly Bell.  Once upon a time when she was a "Bonds Girl" she showed up for the party like this:

But the question we should be asking here is: Who Cares? With the recent crisis in Japan, war in Libya and elsewhere, not to mention we currently don't have a budget in this country, we are spending millions of dollars to prosecute Bonds for.... for what? 

Not for murder, rape, robbery or extortion; not for dealing drugs and not even for taking steroids he is charged with PERJURY, for claiming he didn't know it was steroids his trainer was shooting him up with.  Al will not insult your intelligence by asking if you care about this in the least.  So the ONLY question left is: WHO IS THE BIGGER SCUM -BAG HERE?
Barry for what he did to himself, those who looked up to him, and the sport of baseball; Kimberly Bell for selling out and snitching about personal matters that should have stayed that way and serious threats that if true should have been brought to authorities when they happened - not a decade later, or Congress and Prosecutors who are spending untold sums of public funds on an unconscionable, warped, personal/career advancing vendetta? You know what Al thinks.

PARTING SHOT

With her final words before she was fatally shot, Elaine McCall needled her husband for missing with his first shot yesterday morning inside their Wakefield home, police said.
“ ‘You can’t even shoot,’ ” she said, according to her husband David McCall’s reported statements to police.
The 72-year-old husband was charged with murder after hitting his wife with the second shot from the top of the stairs, police said. His 69-year-old wife’s body crumpled to the floor near the front door, shot in the chest, police said. David McCall walked to the kitchen, called 911, and then tried to shoot himself, according to police, but he missed again, grazing his chest through his sweatshirt

When McCall phoned  911 he reported a "murder suicide" then as the ultimate coward, could not complete the job.  Although remember it's never to late (ask the Craig's List Killer,  Philip Markoff - oops you can't).  You know my heart goes out to Mrs. McCall; because it should not have been her time, because she was married to this scumbag and most of all because when the spineless simpleton missed her the first time she just didn't think to say: "Ha! You can't even shoot - yourself."

SOLD OUT OR SELL OUT?

I found it mildly ironic that the stars aligned so  that on the day I am released from Bureau of Prisons custody Charlie Sheen scheduled a Boston show for his Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat is not an Option tour at Agganis Arena. Not that I would go (I still haven't gotten over him testifying against Heidi Fleiss) but I didn't think it was even an option since news reports were that earlier shows sold out in 18 minutes.  But wait, could this be true?  Who's going to pay to see Charlie when he is already on every network and all over the internet for free?   Even if were to bring along guest comics and a platoon of porn stars how many times can you stand to hear about warlocks and trolls before you tear your frigging eyebrows off?  So Ask Al set out to investigate and do you know what he found - thousands of tickets still available to every show across the country!  These tickets are all in the secondary market like Mr. Ticket, StubHub, Ticket Master etc so that's why the venues can say they are soldout and most of the best seats seem to be taken, but truth be told the public is not going nuts buying them up.  In fact by calling and going on line I could get tickets for every show from Vancouver, BC clear across to the country to New York and down to Tampa FL. There was not a show that didn't have tons of unsold seats.   When I identified myself to the saleswoman from Ticket Inventory as Al Capone she tried to sell me a VIP ticket which is a front row seat and backstage pass to meet the Warlock  for five thousand.  Yes tickets at Radio City Music Hall are priced from $75.00 to $5000.00!  For that price I told her he'd better be throwing in two and a half porn stars and a seven gram rock.

Paris Hilton prosecutor arrested for 

buying cocaine

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Las Vegas deputy district attorney who prosecuted Paris Hilton for cocaine possession was arrested over the weekend after allegedly buying a rock of cocaine, authorities said on Monday.

Clark County Deputy District Attorney David Schubert, 47, was taken into custody in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon and booked on one count of cocaine possession.

Schubert, who has prosecuted Hilton and pop star Bruno Mars on similar charges, was released on Sunday after posting bail and was scheduled for an initial court appearance on Monday.

"I'm very disappointed to learn one of our prosecutors was allegedly buying rock cocaine," Clark County District Attorney David Roger told Reuters in a telephone interview. "This is an individual I placed a great deal of trust in by assigning him to a state and federal drug task force."

"That said, he was arrested and he will be charged and prosecuted like any other individual," he said. "We believe no one is above the law, including a deputy district attorney."

Roger said his office would charge Schubert and then turn the case over to Nevada's attorney general to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest. He has been suspended pending termination.

According to an arrest report, Schubert was spotted picking up another man, identified as Raymond Streeter, while driving his white BMW in a neighborhood known for narcotics dealing.

The pair were followed to an apartment complex, where Streeter allegedly bought cocaine for Schubert. Both men were arrested after a traffic stop turned up cocaine in the car.

UFC Star Jon Bones Jones Stops Robbery

Jon Bones Jones was preparing for his title fight at tonights UFC 128 when a woman called out that she was being robbed. Jon Bones Jones immediately came to her aid and chased the robber down. In the end Jon Bones Jones caught the guy and even snapped a photo for Twitter (see above) to show off his good deed. Hopefully Jones this will bring a ton of positive karma in his title fight versus Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

RANDUMB?

Cambridge.  A 30-year-old Cambridge man died from his wounds and another person was injured in a shooting at Watson and Brookline streets in Cambridge early Saturday morning.

According to authorities, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Cambridge Police responded to a double shooting that occurred at the intersection of Watson Street and Brookline Street in Cambridge. The victims initially drove away from the scene in a bullet-riddled white Cadillac and "were able to flag down a fire truck, who alerted police," the Middlesex DA's office reported. Witnesses counted a dozen bullet holes in the windshield of the car, which was found on Massachusetts Avenue near Main Street, our news partner, WCVB, reported.

Upon arrival, authorities located three individuals in the car, two suffering from obvious gun shot wounds. The two victims were transported to area hospitals where one of the victims, identified as James Lauture, 30, of Cambridge, was pronounced dead. The other victim is expected to survive, according tot the Middelsex DA's office.

Cambridge Police and State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting. While no arrests have been made, authorities do not believe the shooting incident to have been  random.  Random?

Let's take a closer look, shall we.

A dozen bullets fired directly at the driver and they “don’t believe” it’s random?  Well that’s an excellent start.  What else do they know about the “victim?” 

Mr. Lauture survived being stabbed three times in the chest in 2001 outside the Alewife T Station according to the Cambridge Chronicle.

In 2008, according to archives,  James Lauture was arrested for reportedly becoming rowdy after he was denied entry to a Somerville club because he wouldn't honor the club's "no hat" policy.

Lauture faced charges of resisting arrest, trespassing and disorderly conduct. Police also charged Lauture with furnishing a false name or Social Security number after Lauture allegedly gave cops a false name while being booked at the police station.  If this is all he got pinched for imagine what he got away with, until now.

Well this will be an interesting case to watch.  And whether you take the opinion it is a terrible crime or the perpetrator did society a favor, I hope we can agree on one thing: somebody got their man.

EIGHT ISN'T ENOUGH?

     Selecting “Scumbag of the Day” is a tremendous challenge.  There are so many despicable maggots to choose from it becomes difficult to separate the run of the mill lowlife from the piece of garbage that sinks to the depths of society.  Today’s choice demonstrates that the true Scumbag is not limited to any socioeconomic demographic.  What happened here is a terrible tragedy but questions need to be asked because if this were Roxbury, Dorchester or any inner city neighborhood where parents decided to leave their kids alone in a house being heated with propane while they went to the store, the barn, the crack house or napped in their truck, they would not only be labeled scum, they would be locked up for neglect.

Fire at Farmhouse Kills 7 Pennsylvania Children

Seven children died in a swift-moving fire at a farmhouse in Pennsylvania’s dairy country that broke out while their mother was milking cows and their father was napping in a milk truck during a break from his job collecting milk at nearby farms, the authorities said Wednesday. A 3-year-old girl survived.

The other children, who ranged in age from 7 months to 11 years old, were discovered in the house after the fire was extinguished. They died of smoke inhalation, said Michael J. Shalonis, the coroner of Perry County, about 25 miles northwest of Harrisburg.

The fire started about 10 p.m. Tuesday inside Theodore and Janell Clouse’s two-story farmhouse in Southwest Madison Township, neighbors and the authorities said.

The children — girls ages 11, 9, 6, 4, 3, 2 and 7 months, and a 7-year-old boy — were either asleep or watching television at the time.

The eight Clouse children with their cousins.  Their pregnant mother Janell was out milking a cow and father Theodore was napping in his truck while all but a three year old girl burt inside.

COACH-BAGGED

MEDFORD COACH GETS 4 YEARS FOR RAPE.  A former girl's soccer coach was sentenced to as many as four years in jail for the rape of one of the players on his team. Roger Lau, 27, was found guilty of raping the girl between 2003 and 2004 when she was 13 and 14 years old. 


AL:  Hands down, no one will disagree this guy is a scumbag of the worst kind.  Entrusted with the girl's welfare he violates trust on numerous levels knowing full well her age and does so repeatedly.  But who's the bigger scumbag, the rapist or those who had a hand in giving him this sentence: "as many as four years" in jail?  What the F*#! does that mean?   Even if this guy got raped in jail for every one of the next 1460 days (which he won't cause they will keep him separated from general population and he'll do less than two years) would that erase what he did, rehabilitate him, or protect anyone when he gets out?   Al does not agree any time in Jail is sufficient. In my day we a better way to handle this and if you don't know what it is you better go back and watch the first scene in the Godfather.  Jerkoffs.

BLOWN AWAY

LONDON.  A local authority in the U.K. has set up roadblocks to catch people smoking in their cars.  Under U.K.  law a car provided for work purposes counts as a public place – and smoking in public is banned.   Now Tending Council in the south of England is sending out teams of  “enforcement officers” in partnership with local police officers to stop cars at checkpoints and sniff inside, or check ashtrays, for evidence of the crime of “smoking in a public place.

And you thought the U.S. ban on cell phones and texting while driving was bad!
